Of all the ways to lose a game, the Cincinnati Bengals endured one of the worst this evening when they were defeated in the AFC Championship Game by a last-second field goal…
And it was all set up by a foolish penalty from the Begals defensive end Joseph Ossai.
With Patrick Mahomes heading out of bounds and less than 10 seconds remaining in the game, Ossai hit the Chiefs quarterback late, sending both players flying into the bench area and drawing a late-hit flag from the officials.
That set up Harrison Butker for a game-winning 45-yard field-goal, which he hit, kicking off the celebration at Arrowhead while drawing plenty of tears form Ossai.
