The Miami Dolphins are getting set to face the Buffalo Bills after they just dropped over 700 yards of offense and 70 points on the Denver Broncos. While they are not likely to recreate that game, things just got easier for them.
On Friday, it was reported that Bills safety Jordan Poyer is out for Sunday’s game against Miami, according to head coach Sean McDermott.
Poyer will be sorely missed as the Bills try to slow down the Dolphins, who run the NFL’s top-ranked offense and are coming off a 70-point outing. Taylor Rapp will have added responsibilities this week as the Bills try to manage Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, and Tua Tagovailoa.
For the season, Poyer has racked up 14 tackles.
The Bills pushed their record above .500 after they defeated the Washington Commanders last Sunday, 37-3. Josh Allen’s two touchdowns helped the Buffalo Bills make quick work of the Washington Commanders. Buffalo’s defense forced five turnovers and the Bills won their second in a row after a rough season opener.
Allen was 20 of 32 with 218 yards passing.

The team will need to be perfect on defense yet again if they want any shot at slowing down Miami.
