The Green Bay Packers and Chicago Bears have one of the best rivalries in professional football, but many thought things would change drastically since Aaron Rodgers has been traded to the New York Jets.
The rivalry has been fairly one sided as the Packers have defeated the Bears eight consecutive times dating back to September 2019 and have won 13 out of their last 14 matchups. In fact, Green Bay has only lost to Chicago three times since January 2011.
Things may be changing this year as a new era is upon us and Jordan Love is getting set to be the man with the keys to the franchise in Green Bay.
Love wished Bears fans a Happy Father’s Day on Sunday, which appeared to be an attempt at a joke, but it did not hit the way he may have thought it would.
“Happy Father’s Day to all the Bears fans out there,” Love said. “Go Pack go.”

Here’s how fans responded to it:
Love is attempting to keep the rivalry hot as a new era is about to begin for the franchise. The former Utah State standout officially has the reins to lead the offense after the Packers traded Aaron Rodgers to the New York Jets in the offseason.
With this type of attitude, Love will surely fit right in as Green Bay’s new starter.
The first-round pick of the Packers in the 2020 draft has only made 10 appearances, including one start when Rodgers was out with COVID. He has 606 passing yards, three touchdown passes, and three interceptions. He lost in his only start.
Now that he can somewhat trash talk, he needs to deliver on the field.
