Jonathan Taylor’s career in Indianapolis is thought to be all but over, despite the Colts’ failure to trade him during the offseason.
It’s pretty clear that the team will not give the running back the contract he wants considering that they’ve already given him the green light to seek a move.
The Miami Dolphins were one of the teams thought to be the most interested in trading for the All-Pro RB prior to the start of the season, but it’s been reported that the Colts wanted Jaylen Waddle in return, something the Fins scoffed at.
According to X account MLFootball, Indy wants a wide receiver, as well as draft capital for Taylor. The account also suggests that they could expect to lose wideout Michael Pittman Jr. as he’s in the final year of his deal and is looking for significant money.
Barring a drastic change, Taylor will be playing for a different team at some point. And BetOnline odds have the Baltimore Ravens as the team most likely to land him at +300.
The Arizona Cardinals are next up in such regard at +400, while the Chicago Bears and Dolphins are both +500.

As for Pittman, an Indy exit isn’t thought to be in the making just yet, but it will be interesting to see how things play out.
