The Jonathan Taylor saga may have taken another twist as the running back does appear to be dealing with an issue despite his recent tweet.
ESPN’s Stephen Holder was responsible for a report citing sources claiming that the Indianapolis Colts running back “reported to camp complaining of back pain that was deemed to be from a pre-existing issue. The team is now considering placing him on the non-football injury list, which could result in him not being paid for the regular season.”
It does appear that the Colts do not want to pay their star man. And he took to Twitter to blast the reports with the following tweet:
However, video footage from the Colts’ training camp on Monday shows the RB moving gingerly enough to suggest that he may indeed have a back issue. Check it out right below:
What we can say is that Holder’s sources aren’t made up and the story came from somewhere in the team’s front office. Now, it remains to be seen whether Taylor plays next season.

Colts head coach Shane Steichen did address the matter on Monday, stating: “Right now he’s on this football team, and when the medical staff clears him, he’ll play.”
This latest twist makes things a lot more interesting.
