Jon Gruden is truly one of a kind.
The Oakland Raiders head coach had a grand opportunity to do something he didn’t have a chance to do much during the 2018 NFL season…and that was actually win a game with talented players on the field.
After trading away players like Khalil Mack and Amari Cooper — Gruden has multiple picks in the 2019 Draft to play with, so being head coach in the Senior Bowl on Saturday gave him an up-close look at players he just might like t select.
During the game, Gruden brought back an old motivational tactic by walking around and slapping Raiders stickers on the helmet of players to further motivate them and possibly serving as a bit of a recruiting technique.
