Week 7 against the Green Bay Packers started off surprisingly well for the Oakland Raiders, but it just seemed like a matter of time before the wheels started to come off. That happened when Derek Carr turned the ball over at the goal line right before half time, and it steadily got worse with some of the calls coming from referees.
That led to Portland Trailblazers superstar Damian Lillard calling them out on Twitter.
Lillard wasn’t the only one who wasn’t happy about the officiating as head coach Jon Gruden didn’t bite his tongue either.
“The referees, I wasn’t happy with some of the calls, obviously,” said Gruden after the game.
Instead of the Raiders going up 17-14 at half time, this below fumble by Carr ruined a masterful drive by the Raiders, which had the Packers scoring on the next drive and then scoring on the first possession of the second half.

“It’s one of those plays if you score, everyone is high-fiving you – you fumble the ball, everyone is like ‘do it better,” said Carr about the fumble. “I understand I messed up, I dropped the ball… That’s completely my fault”
