Johnny Manziel’s downward spiral of failure on the field and off of it continued when it was announced his wife Bre Tiesi filed for divorce from the former NFL quarterback.
TMZ Sports reported the documents were filed in Los Angeles, months after the pair announced their split. Tiesi had already alleged that Manziel cheated on her when responding to other social media users.
24 hours later and now TMZ is reporting that Bre wants spousal support, despite them being separated for 379 days.
“Johnny Football could become Johnny Spousal Support … at least, that’s what his estranged wife Bre Tiesi is going for.
TMZ Sports has obtained Bre’s divorce petition in which she specifically asks the judge to award her spousal support … despite separating after only a year.
In the docs, Bre says they got married on March 10, 2018, and she lists the date of separation as March 24, 2019 … which is interesting.”
Manziel was out of the league by the time the two got married. He held down a job in the Canadian Football League after he tied the knot, but would find himself being cut and banned from the league.
His time in the AAF wouldn’t last any longer as the upstart football league would go bankrupt before the inaugural season ended.
