Johnny Manziel is on the list of athletes that is not a fan of Darren Rovell.
The Action Network reporter took to Twitter on Wednesday and revealed that the former NFL quarterback actually sent him a gift. It was an autographed helmet that had an explicit message on it.
On the helmet, Manziel allegedly wrote, “To Darren Rovell (expletive) you!”
Manziel has not played in the NFL since 2015 when the Browns got tired of his antics and released him after just two seasons. Since then, he has played for the CFL, the AAF, and now the for the Zappers in the Fan Controlled Football League.
“Even if I got an opportunity to go back to the NFL, I don’t think I would take it,” Manziel said in a recent interview, according to USA Today. “I don’t think it’s my path. I don’t think it’s what’s meant to be. I think there are a million other avenues and things I can do in life. I’ve been good as a football player in the past. I want to be good at something else in life, and I’ve tried to be patient and not force things like I have in the past and let life just come to me. And I’m a believer in something will pop up in my life that I know I’m going to love the way that I loved football at one point in time.”
In his two NFL seasons, Manziel appeared in 14 games during which he threw for 1,675 yards, seven touchdowns and seven interceptions.
