Joe Flacco is having the time of his life in Cleveland, having fired the Browns to the playoffs this week. And it appears Johnny Manziel is rooting for him.
Flacco has a 4-1 record as the Browns’ starting quarterback, passing for 1,616 yards, 13 touchdowns, and eight interceptions while completing 60.3 percent of his attempts.
Manziel, who only lasted 14 games in Cleveland, registered 1,675 total yards and is 31st on the team’s all-time passing list. Flacco is not that far away. Someone pointed that out on X this Friday but Johnny took it on the chin, offering a classy and hilarious response.
“Some records were meant to be broken,” he replied.
According to our math, Flacco only needs 60 yards to usurp Manziel.
He would actually have to try hard not to pass for 60 yards in his next game. That “record” is getting broken on January 7 against the Bengals, by all indications.
