Johnny Manziel has had a rough go of football since the Cleveland Browns parted ways with him a few years ago.
His stint in the Canadian Football League didn’t last very long as he was traded, got playing time, and then eventually cut and banned from ever playing in the CFL, saying he “contravened the agreement which made him eligible to play” in the Canadian Football League.
That brought him to taking his talents to the Alliance of American Football League. After two weeks of play, the league suddenly suspended operations and ultimately folded.
Just recently, TMZ cameras caught Manziel leaving the club and asked him about his future plans going forward and he made it clear that it will remain on Football. Mainly, the XFL, which starts in 2020.
Through two weeks of scattered play, Manziel was 5/8 on completions, with 61 passing yards, 0 TD’s, and 3 carries for 18 yards.
