Carolina Panthers’ punter Johnny Hekker delivered a totally unnecessary cheap shot in Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins.
During the contest, a frustrated Hekker went over to Miami linebacker Cameron Goode and shoved him before delivering a headbutt that delivered the latter to the ground.
Did Goode sell it a bit? Maybe, but it was also totally unsportsmanlike and extremely uncalled for.
Things are understandably frustrating in Carolina, as their loss to Miami dropped them to 0-6 on the season. The Panthers are the only winless remaining team, and don’t forget that their 2024 first-round pick belongs to the Chicago Bears.
