John Harbaugh has made light of his brother’s sign-stealing scandal at Michigan ahead of the playoffs.
Harbaugh’s Ravens will get a well-deserved break after finishing the regular season with the best record in the league and will play the lowest-remaining seed in the divisional round.
The Dolphins, No. 6 in the conference, could be their next opponents. But they would have to get past the No. 3 Chiefs on Saturday night.
Speaking to reporters this Friday, Harbaugh revealed that the Ravens tried to send scouts to the game before their flights were canceled due to adverse weather conditions.
“Which is legal in pro football,” he added with a huge grin.
The quip was made in reference to his brother Jim Harbaugh’s ordeal over at Michigan. Jim was suspended for the last three games of the Wolverines’ regular season over a sign-stealing scandal that rocked college football.

Of course, his sibling can afford to make light of it now that the Wolverines are national champions. But such a joke wouldn’t have gone over smoothly in the Harbaugh family two months ago.
