News of just a six-game suspension for Deshaun Watson swept over the NFL Monday and one head coach has some interesting things to say.
Watson, who has been accused of sexual misconduct by more than 20 women, has been given a six-game suspension by an independent arbitrator.
Baltimore Ravens Head Coach John Harbaugh was asked for his take after practice.
“I do have a lot of opinions on it. I’m not at liberty to share them at this time. That’s for the league to decide,” Harbaugh said.
Harbaugh added: “I respect what Steve Bisciotti and Dick Cass created here almost 10 years ago. Basically, what we decided [was] that we’re kind of zero tolerance. We’ve stayed away from that particular situation. I’m glad we have that policy.”
Those are some interesting comments as Harbaugh and the Ravens will face Watson at least twice a year moving forward. Watson is scheduled to face the Ravens in Week 7 if his suspension does not change.
Watson was traded to Cleveland this offseason after having sat out the 2021 season with the Texans due to the allegations from massage therapists as well as growing unease with the Houston front office.

Hours after the announcement, he arrived at training camp to applause from fans and a warm reception from teammates. He spent time signing autographs at the end of the day.
