Over the last two months of his rookie season, Pittsburgh Steelers’ cornerback Joey Porter Jr. has let his play do the talking for him.
Before things got going on Saturday Night Football against the Cincinnati Bengals, he let his mouth do the talking as he was featured in the player introductions.
Fans of the HBO show Game of Thrones were excited as the rookie referred to himself as the “King of the North” in reference to Game of Thrones.

The NBC player introductions have seemed to take on a life of their own, as players have pretty much stopped doing the normal format which has them list their name and college they attended, in favor of more colorful introductions.
In the game, Porter Jr. had two tackles on the night in a game where the Steelers won 34-11.
For the season, Porter Jr. has 42 tackles (31 solo) and one interception.
The Pittsburgh Steelers have an impressive track record of being in playoff contention every year as they re-entered the AFC playoff race.
The Steelers improved to 8-7 with the win, clinching their 20th consecutive eight-win season in the process.
