Joey Bosa is a man who is clearly still in touch with the younger generation. And the 26-year-old linebacker proved it during today’s game in Los Angeles.
While taking on the Giants in a week 14 contest, the Los Angeles Chargers pass rusher took down the opposing quarterback and was spotted celebrating his good play by doing the Halo teabag dance. Those who know about the dance were quick to recognize it. And it sent social media into a frenzy.
“Teabagging” refers to a taunt in multiplayer games where players stand over an opponent’s dead body and repeatedly crouch their character over the corpse. It also has another meaning in the real world, but we’ll let you do your own google search on that.
One person who apparently didn’t know about the “Halo teabag” dance is the person running the NFL twitter account, as they posted the dance before quickly deleting it once they learned of its real meaning.
