An audio clip of Joe Mixon’s personal trainer speaking to police after calling them from the Bengals’ stars house has been obtained by TMZ.
The audio, in which trainer Sean Pena can be heard explaining the situation to the authorities, has been made public by the outlet following reports of a teenager getting shot near Mixon’s house on Monday night.
Pena, known for training high-profile athletes such as Antonio Brown, called police to report gunshots from Mixon’s house in Cincinnati around 8:25 PM on Monday night, according to police records.
During the call, Pena is heard saying that several kids were playing near the running back’s residence and blocked off the street with their cars. The trainer told dispatch he was calling from “my athlete’s house” and had been watching the group get on with their game for 10-15 minutes.
He is also heard saying the following:
One kid was running around brandishing a weapon and he went back to his car and it looked like it was a fake weapon. But then I kept watching, watching, watching and then he was screaming something and he went back to his car and he pulled out another weapon. It looked like a KelTec or something and ran up the back driveway of this house that he had been going up and down, and said, ‘F*** yeah.

Pena then claimed to have heard what sounded like five gunshots before three of the cars “sped off.”
“Then all the sudden I heard him running, running down there, and you heard ‘Pop, pop, pop, pop, pop’,” he said.
Per police documents, a juvenile was found with a gunshot wound to his foot when they arrived on the scene but he did not want medical attention, claiming his dad is a doctor.
The lawmen have also revealed finding a shell casing in the rear of Mixon’s house, also announcing the player’s home is “part of the crime scene.”
Mixon has not commented publicly on the matter.
