Bengals running back Joe Mixon got into an exchange of words with Vikings rookie Ivan Pace Jr. after their teams played on Saturday.
While the Bengals got the better of Minnesota, Pace made some important stops on Mixon in the red zone late on.
The RB has been on a tear recently, having rushed for a total of 194 yards and four touchdowns over the last three games, all wins for Cincinnati. He has also made 12 receptions for another 109 yards.
The game was particularly special for him as he tied Rudi Johnson for the second-most rushing touchdowns in Bengals history. And he was fired up after the dust settled, with cameras catching him exchanging words with the first-year linebacker, who hails from Cincy.
Pace appeared to tell Mixon “You not tough,” before they parted.
While they were both hyped, the exchange didn’t get close to going over the line, even after Pace tapped him in the chest when they vowed to run it back when they meet again.
