Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow is stirring buzz on social media after he appeared to injure his hand. Things only got worse as footage showed him being unable to grip a football and throw it on the sidelines.
During a drive in the second quarter, Burrow was taken to the ground by Ravens edge rusher Jadeveon Clowney and his hand was jammed into the turf.
After that, Burrow grimaced as he squeezed his hand after a touchdown pass during the second quarter.
We are now seeing how badly swollen his hand looked in that second quarter.
Burrow went to the blue medical tent to get checked by trainers after leaving the field. He eventually ran to the locker room.
Jake Browning took over for Burrow on the Bengals’ next drive. He had thrown just one NFL pass before Thursday night.
