Joe Burrow appears to be just as advertised.
With no preseason games to help things along, training camp scrimmages were going to be more important than ever for Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals. The No. 1 overall draft pick made the most of Friday’s scrimmage.
Burrow reportedly completed all six of his pass attempts for 69 yards, capping off the drive with a touchdown pass to wideout Auden Tate.
Burrow’s 2019 season at LSU saw him complete 76.3 percent of his passes for 5,671 yards, 60 touchdowns and a mere six interceptions in 15 games played this year.
After his outstanding collegiate career, it was an easy pick for Joe Burrow to be the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. The Cincinnati Bengals needed a new franchise quarterback and Burrow looks like that type of player.
