All NFL players seem to take their Super Bowl losses differently. If you’re Rob Gronkowski, you may go out and dance your butt off afterwards. If you’re Cam Newton, you’ll probably storm out on an interview or two…
And if you’re Joe Burrow, apparently you get on stage and rap to some Kid Cudi.
That’s what the Cincinnati Bengals quarterback was spotted doing following his team’s 23-20 loss to the Rams at Super Bowl LVI. Cudi was performing at the Bengals’ afterparty, which was noticeably somber, as you’d expect following such a crushing loss.
But despite taking seven quarterback sacks and several more hits in the losing effort, Burrow was still in good enough spirits to show up on stage in front of the Bengals fans and rap along to some of Cudi’s rhymes.
At just 25-years-old, the popular belief is that Joe Burrow will be playing in many more Super Bowls down the road. Hopefully next time he’ll be rapping on stage following a victory.
