Joe Burrow is on fire.
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback arrived at Sunday’s game against the Houston Texans wearing a special type of outfit.
Burrow was rocking his dad’s Montreal Alouettes jersey.
His father, Jim, played defensive back for the Canadian Football League’s Montreal Alouettes from 1977 to 1980. He was originally picked in the eighth round of the 1976 NFL draft by the Green Bay Packers and then played five years in the CFL for Montreal, the Calgary Stampeders, and the Ottawa Roughriders.
Jim Burrow also coached at Ohio University for 13 years before retiring.
As for his son, his next matchup features the 5-3 Cincinnati Bengals against the 4-4 Houston Texans. After a feeble 1-3 start that drew heavy criticism, the Bengals have been on fire. However, it has not gotten them out of last place in the AFC North as everybody has a winning record at the moment.
