Last week, the United States Supreme Court stripped rights away from women across the country by overturning Roe v. Wade.
Numerous public figures have voiced criticism of the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision Friday to overturn the 1973 case that legalized abortion nationwide. Joe Burrow is just the latest to give his opinion on the matter.
On Monday, the Cincinnati Bengals QB took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the Supreme Court ruling on abortion.
“I’m not pro-murdering babies,” he posted on Instagram.
“I’m pro-Becky who found out at her 20 week anatomy scan that the infant she had been so excited to bring into this world had developed without life sustaining organs.
“I’m pro-Susan who was sexually assaulted on her way home from work, only to come to the horrific realization that her assailant planted his seed in her when she got a positive pregnancy test result a month later.
“I’m pro-Theresa who hemorrhaged due to a placental abruption, causing her parents, spouse, and children to have to make the impossible decision on whether to save her or her unborn child.

“I’m pro-little Cathy who had her innocence ripped away from her by someone she should have been able to trust and her 11 year old body isn’t mature enough to bear the consequence of the betrayal.”
The Supreme Court’s ruling has given the power back to the states and now leaders and officials will now be able to decide on access to abortion.
Burrow threw for 4,611 yards, 34 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions last year, and he led Cincinnati to its first Super Bowl appearance since the 1988 season.
