Joe Burrow is back in a familiar location, as he and his Cincinnati Bengals are in New Orleans to take on the Saints today.
For those of you who don’t remember, Burrow attended Louisiana State University prior to getting drafted first overall by the Bengals in 2020. And during his final season at LSU, he led the Tigers to a National Championship by beating the Clemson Tigers at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, which is also where he’ll be playing today.
Needless to say, Burrow and his family have a lot of ties to NOLA. And they all decided to pay tribute to those tied ahead of today’s contest.
First up was Burrow himself, who showed former LSU and current Bengals teammate Ja’Marr Chase some love by donning his Tigers jersey as he arrived at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome this morning.
Looking to get in on the N’awlins love, Burrow’s parents also wore jerseys commemorating their son’s time in Louisiana.

Despite all the love, you can bet that Burrow and his parents would like nothing more than for Cincy to send all of these New Orleans fans home disappointed today. And they’ll have a good opportunity to do just that against a depleted Saints roster.
