The Cincinnati Bengals looked to be turning their season around in recent weeks, but that was likely all for naught following the latest news about their star quarterback.
According to reports, an MRI has revealed that Joe Burrow tore a ligament in his wrist and is not expected to miss the remainder of the 2023 NFL season.
It’s been a tough season for Burrow, as he dealt with a nagging leg injury during preseason and throughout the first few weeks of the season. He was finally getting healthy before sustaining the wrist injury during a week 10 game against the Houston Texans.
Footage of Burrow arriving at last night’s game against the Ravens appeared to show him nursing a hand injury, but the Bengals didn’t have him listed on their injury report.
The team will now turn to backup Jake Browning, who came in to relieve Burrow during the Bengals’ 34-20 loss to the Ravens last night.
