The Bengals could be hiding an injury to quarterback Joe Burrow, the way some observers see it.
The QB is set for action against the Ravens this Thursday night and, while he isn’t listed on Cincinnati’s injury report, it’s believed that he could be dealing with a hand problem as fanss noticed a black sleeve on his throwing hand after WCPO and FOX19 posted a video of him arriving in Baltimore.
According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, the Bengals might be hiding the injury as they don’t want to make his throwing hand a target for the Ravens’ defense.
“Burrow surely will play on Thursday night,” Florio writes. “But the Bengals quite possibly are concealing a condition that potentially would put a target on his throwing hand. It’s also possible he will have some sort of limitation during the game against the Ravens.”
The Bengals will be desperate for a win this Thursday night as it would keep them in the running for the AFC North title – they’re 5-4 after nine games and will be going up against the NFL’s second-best defense.

An injured Burrow is the last thing they want right now. But as long as he’s healthy enough to play, they have every chance of picking up a win.
