Joe Burrow is now the fourth quarterback this off-season to sign a market-resetting contract extension.
As the Kansas City Chiefs were taking on the Detroit Lions on Thursday night, the Cincinnati Bengals stole some of the thunder by announcing that Joe Burrow just signed his extension.
The Cincinnati Bengals and QB Joe Burrow reached an agreement on a five-year, $275 million extension that includes $219.01 million guaranteed, according to Adam Schefter.
The 26-year-old was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in 2020 by the Bengals and he has been everything for him.
In 2022, Burrow passed for 4,475 yards, 35 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions to go along with 257 yards rushing and five touchdowns.
He has taken the team to back-to-back AFC Championship games and a Super Bowl appearance.
