Cincinnati Bengals’ star quarterback Joe Burrow offered a worrisome update on his calf injury following the club’s Week 2 home loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
Burrow suffered a calf injury during training camp on July 27, but he managed to recover in time for the start of the regular season. After Sunday’s loss Burrow revealed that he “tweaked” his calf in the game, per Olivia Ray of WLWT:
Burrow had another tough outing one week after a blowout loss to the Cleveland Browns. He finished with 27 completions on 41 attempts for 222 yards, two touchdowns and an interception in the 27-24 loss.
The Bengals will host the Los Angeles Rams in a Super Bowl 56 rematch on Monday night next week.
