Joe Buck has vowed that he will give Taylor Swift as much coverage as she deserves if she’s at the game between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night.
The teams are gearing up for a Super Bowl rematch on ‘Monday Night Football’ and, this time around, Travis Kelce could have a special someone there to show him support, though she’s been an Eagles fan all her life.
Reports claim that the Kelce and Swift families are going to meet up at the game but we can’t be sure that the pop star will be in attendance as she’s back on tour. If she is around, it will be interesting to see how much attention she’s paid by ESPN.
Buck, who will be on call alongside longtime partner Troy Aikman, has promised that the broadcast will focus on the game but Taylor will get coverage if she’s there.
“I have daughters in their 20s. I’ve been surrounded by that for more than this year. Got to meet her when I took my youngest years ago,” he posted to social media in response to a fan.
“She couldn’t have been nicer. You can just tell she’s a good person. So I’m a fan of that. And Travis is a great guy. That said- we will do the game. And if she is there we will document that. It’s a story. As much as some tire of it. We will find the right balance.”
