Sports broadcaster Joe Buck has been married to his wife, ESPN star Michelle Beisner-Buck, since 2014.
Both of them will be doing something quite special for Monday night Football.
With Scott Van Pelt losing his voice, ESPN is turning to Joe Buck and his wife, Michele Beisner-Buck, for the “Monday Night Football” pregame prior to Packers-Raiders.
Van Pelt revealed that Monday Night Football play-by-play guy Joe Buck will host a majority of Monday Night Countdown. Approximately 30 minutes before kickoff, Buck will then head up to the press box, and his wife, Michelle Beisner-Buck, will take over.
“So, we played another fun edition of will Scott’s voice quit before the show ends last night. Unfortunately, I woke up to zero voice at all. Just gone. As a result, no trip to Vegas for Monday Night Countdown or @SportsCenter,” SVP tweeted.
“@Buck and @MichelleBeisner will be fantastic handling MNC. @RGIII @mspears96 @Realrclark25 @LarryFitzgerald have a great show to bring you. Very frustrating to put everyone in this spot. Hopefully back at it soon.”

Beisner-Buck first entered the NFL world in 1997 when she headed for the Denver Broncos as a cheerleader. She made a major move when she subsequently made the move to TV, working as a reporter for ESPN covering the Champ Car World Series while also working for the likes of Fox Sports, CBS, and NBC.
Beisner-Buck joined NFL Network, taking on the role of field reporter and studio host in 2006 so she knows what she is doing.
Buck will call the Packers-Raiders game with Troy Aikman as usual.
Van Pelt replaced Suzy Kolber on the pregame this season. The 58-year-old expects to be back very soon, as he feels fine, but a voice issue is the one ailment a broadcaster can’t just play through.
