Future Hall of Famer JJ Watt is pissed at the NFL this week.
The three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year took to social media to respond about a fine handed down to Detroit Lions running back Amon-Ra St. Brown.
He ripped into the league for fining Amon-Ra St. Brown for what appeared to be a normal block on a run attempt during last week’s game against the Chicago Bears as he quote-tweeted the video.
“Here we go again. General rule of thumb: If you have to watch the video multiple times to try figuring out which person did something wrong and you still can’t figure it out, we probable shouldn’t be taking $43,709 from someone,” Watt posted on social media. “This.Is.Stealing.Money.”
St. Brown reacted to being assessed the highest fine this week by posting, “Almost 5% of my salary. I’m hurtingg.”
Brown was fined $43,709. The wide receiver lowered his head on the collision, but there was no flag thrown and both players walked away without injury.
