JJ Watt clapped back at a social media troll who came at him for the way he dressed his son.
The former NFL star is in London – where it’s been a struggle to watch March Madness because he mostly gets soccer and darts on TV – and his son Koa is taking the city in as well.
The kid looks to be having the time of his life based on a few adorable photos posted by the three-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year.
He wouldn’t have expected it, but one fan offered some unsolicited advice, asking Watt to put his son in more comfortable clothes.
“Instead of dressing him as an infant model, why not put him in COMFORTABLE clothes that fit. We will still think he is cute no matter what he is wearing,” she commented.
Watt responded to her tweet by making it clear that the jacket Koa shown seen wearing happens to be his favorite and it’s the one he goes for every morning.

“Cheers Dee, I appreciate the parenting advice! Koa has other jackets, but he runs and grabs this one every single morning when he wants to go on a walk. Want to know what’s not comfortable? You thinking you know when my son is comfortable,” Watt replied.
A five-time Pro Bowler in the NFL, JJ Watt knows a thing or two about defense, even when it’s online.
JJ Watt Has Also Lashed Out At The NFL In Recent Times
JJ Watt has also gone after the NFL on social media recently following the news of the hip-drop tackle getting banned.
The new rule was proposed by the NFL Competition Committee and will see a penalty attached to such defensive moves starting in 2024, per ESPN. The NFLPA put out a statement in opposition to the proposed ban, but it has fallen on deaf ears.
Watt was among a group of players and former players to criticize the decision as he suggested the NFL should just play flag football.
Only time will tell just how well this rule will work.
