JJ Watt continues to show how much he is a man of the people.
The Arizona Cardinals got back to their winning ways on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams, which was led by Watt and the incredible defense. Despite the victory, one fan came away very upset over a referee’s decision.
One male bettor aired his grievance to JJ Watt over a supposed fumble return that would’ve netted the bettor $1000. Since the play was called dead, no touchdown was scored. The fan would have won $1,000 on a three-leg parlay, including a Cardinals win, a Cardinals defensive touchdown and a James Conner touchdown.
After the fan told Watt about the bet, the Cardinals star stated he would help him out.
One other fan tried it, but failed.

A Myjai Sanders sack on quarterback John Wolford was initially ruled an incomplete pass, but the call was overturned to a strip sack after replay. Watt had clearly recovered the ball and would’ve scored easily.
The Cardinals would go on to score on the next drive, taking a two-touchdown lead entering halftime.
Watt’s history should let you know how much he cares about giving back. The people of Houston know how he came through after Hurricane Harvey tore up the area.
With the NFC being as wide open as it is now, there’s still hope for the Cardinals to somehow squeak into the playoffs.
As for JJ Watt, he has already recorded 5.5 sacks this season.
