A back-and-forth has been brewing between Kimmel and the Jets QB since the comedian criticized Aaron Rodgers’ comments regarding a cover-up of the UFO sightings that took place in 2023.
A CNN reporter questioned Kimmel about his willingness to allow Rodgers to join him on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and Kimmel responded by stating “Probably not”. Rodgers was instructed by Kimmel that if he wanted to appear on the show, he would have to contact him in order to set up a time.
After Rodgers commented on the disgraced and rumored list of celebrities said to have had connections with disgraced financier Jeffery Epstein that was being circulated in the media, Rodgers heated their fiery conversation stating Kimmel would not be happy if it was released. Rodgers further added he would “pop some sort of bottle” via the Pat McAfee show on January 2nd, 2024
Kimmel did not like this comment, tweeting, “I’ve not met, flown with, visited, or had any contact whatsoever with Epstein, nor will you find my name on any “list” other than the clearly-phony nonsense that soft-brained wackos like yourself can’t seem to distinguish from reality.”
Kimmel also threatened the 40-year-old New York Jets QB with a lawsuit adding, “Your reckless words put my family in danger. Keep it up and we will debate the facts further in court.” ]

Kimmel has also stated, on his show, that he will not be renewing his contract with ABC, and therefore the show could be over in the near future.
The Jets QB never ended up apologizing for the comments he made on the Pat McAfee show saying that they were taken out of context and Kimmel’s life would go on. Let’s just say you won’t be seeing Rodgers and Kimmel rejoicing for a while.
