It’s been 30 years since Jimmy Johnson last coached for the Dallas Cowboys, but the Hall of Famer’s passion for America’s Team hasn’t waned a bit.
The Cowboys put up a miserable effort in the first half in Sunday’s home playoff game against the Green Bay Packers. The visitors opened up a 27-0 lead, and Dallas only managed to get on the board with a TD on the final play from scrimmage before halftime.
Johnson lit into the Cowboys during the halftime show on FOX, to the point where it looked like he was on the verge of tears.
“Every single one of you, you know how hard we’ve worked…You get your rear end in there and you play the way you know how to play. We can win the game! We’re gonna open it up, we’re gonna go fast-tempo. Defense, get after Jordan Love! YOU CAN’T GIVE HIM THAT MUCH TIME! YOU DO WHAT YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO DO AND WE’LL WIN THIS GAME!”
*Round of applause for Mr. Johnson*.
You tell them, Jimmy.
