Jimmy Graham had a scary moment this week.
The NFL player and avid cyclist was hit by a driver while riding his bike according to former Green Bay Packers linebacker AJ Hawk on Wednesday’s edition of ‘The Pat McAfee Show.”
“You know he’s like a professional cyclist?” Hawk asked rhetorically. “He was riding his bike down in Miami yesterday or two days ago, I got pictures, car turns left, hits him, takes him out. He says he did more damage to the car than the car did to him,” said Hawk.
On Thursday, Graham decided to share the wound he suffered as a result of that accident.
The 36-year-old NFL veteran is best known for his three All-Pro selections, playing 12 seasons in the league, and being a 2020 Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee.

According to Hawk, the five-time Pro Bowler is currently preparing to embark on a solo sailing mission at the end of the year.
“Jimmy Graham is actually training to sail around the world right now,” said Hawk.
His accident put his name back in the news because many were wondering if he had officially hung up his cleats, considering Graham last played for the Chicago Bears during the 2021 season where he closed out the season with three touchdowns and 14 receptions for 167 yards.
The Miami Hurricanes product rose to stardom in only his second year with the New Orleans Saints, who chose him in the third round of the 2010 NFL Draft.
In 2011, he amassed 1,310 yards and 11 touchdowns, giving him his first of five Pro Bowl appearances and a second-team All-Pro nomination.
Graham led the league with 16 touchdown catches during the 2013 season as well.
