If you’re one of those people who enjoy hearing Tony Romo and Jim Nantz call games, you will be sad to find out their status this week.
During Sunday Night Football, fans found out Cris Collinsworth was off as former Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett stepped in for the Chargers vs. Ravens game.
The CBS lead crew of Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson called the Washington Commanders and Dallas Cowboys on Thanksgiving. They were also back for a second game in Week 12 with the Buffalo Bills at the Philadelphia Eagles.
This week, Jim Nantz and Tony Romo will get the week off.
“With Jim Nantz and Tony Romo calling two games last week (Commanders-Cowboys on Thanksgiving and Bills-Eagles yesterday) and CBS having a pretty atrocious slate of games in Week 13, Nantz and Romo will get this Sunday off,” Jimmy Traina tweeted.
The upcoming games for CBS feature the Texans-Bronocs, Cardinals-Steelers, Colts-Titans, Chargers-Patriots, and one game in the evening with the Panthers-Buccaneers.

CBS broadcast announcer Tony Romo, who was a quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys throughout his NFL career, left fans with a viral moment on Sunday after he called co-worker Jim Nantz “sexy” during the Philadelphia Eagles’ home victory over the Buffalo Bills at Lincoln Financial Field.
Romo has become somewhat of a nuisance for CBS because fans no longer respect what he says. A week off may do him some good.
