City Chiefs-Buffalo Bills Week 6 game, and social media had a lot to say.
The quality of the games on Amazon Prime’s Thursday Night Football program have been awfully sloppy and mistake-filled, to say the very least. So much though that Nantz couldn’t help but poke fun at it on live TV.
Many expected a high-scoring affair in the highly-anticipated Chiefs-Bills Week 6 game, but it was a defensive-dominant affair for 30 minutes. The two AFC heavyweights went to the locker room in a 10-10 tie.
Social media certainly noticed Nantz’s joke. These are just several of the many hilarious responses.

In Week 5, the Indianapolis Colts defeated the Denver Broncos 12-9 (in overtime) on Thursday Night Football in a sloppy affair which featured zero touchdowns. The game was so sluggish that many Denver fans even headed home before overtime even started.
Matt Ryan and Russell Wilson each threw two interceptions, and they combined to take 10 sacks. The Colts barely got a win by stopping the Broncos on 4th-and-1 inside the red zone on the final play.
Not that the Week 6 meeting between the Washington Commanders and the Chicago Bears was much better. Carson Wentz and Justin Fields took a combined eight sacks, and each team mustered just one touchdown on the night.
Washington’s game-winning touchdown came midway through the fourth quarter thanks to a muffed punt and fumble recovery. The short field allowed Brian Robinson to put Washington up for good on a one-yard touchdown.
The Chiefs-Bills came turned out to be much better than the recent Thursday night games. A late Josh Allen TD strike to Dawson Knox and a Taron Johnson interception off of Patrick Mahomes helped the Bills escape with a 24-20 win.
