Earlier this week, Indianapolis Colts fans were buzzing on social media.
Andrew Luck, who has been retired since before the 2019 season, had his name trending on all platforms after a Colts fan claimed to have text messages from Andrew Luck’s wife saying that her husband misses football and that he allegedly had a meeting with Colts owner Jim Irsay.
Team owner Jim Irsay pretty slammed the door on Luck coming back this year or anytime in the future.
“He’s more retired now than he was a year and a half ago,” Irsay said via Kevin Bowen. “He definitely is retired and there’s really no wiggle room or rumor, as much as people would like to hear that.”
“Believe me, I wish It was true and I was hiding some big announcement. But that’s just not the case.”

It’s pretty obvious that Luck doesn’t miss football as he has been off the grid since his sudden retirement. Even after two years off, Luck is still 31-years-old, but that doesn’t mean he wants to make a comeback to a sport that caused him so much physical pain.
He’s young, rich, and enjoying his family.
