When it was announced that the Indianapolis Colts would be hiring the highly-unqualified Jeff Saturday to be their new head coach, most people within the football world thought things couldn’t get any crazier in Indy…
Then Jim Irsay stepped up to the mic for his press conference on Monday evening, and things pretty much reached “batsh*t” on the crazy meter.
From the Colts being in the “top quartile of the upper quartile” among NFL franchises when it comes to winning, to the recipe for how to make sausages, Jim Irsay appeared hell-bent on seeing how many stupid comments he could make in an effort to justify his hiring of Saturday…
Or maybe he just figured that by saying a bunch of wacky things, he could take some of the attention off of his new head coach.

Despite all the backlash that he’s been receiving, Jeff Saturday is still a great dude. He just so happened to be handed a job that he’s probably not ready for. It’s not his fault.
