Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay may have landed himself in some hot water with the NFL after his sharing of an ill-advised social media post this week.
The entire Colts organization was left fuming after questionable defensive penalties put the Cleveland Browns in range for a field goal that won them Sunday’s game. Irsay took to X on Tuesday to reveal that the NFL admitted that the officials made incorrect calls at the end of the game, while also calling for instant replays on all calls made within the last two minutes of every game.
“The NFL admits and understands that they did not make the correct calls at end of Sunday’s Colts/Browns Game,” he wrote. “I believe we need to institute Instant Replay for all calls, including Penalties, in the last two minutes of All Games.”
Colts fans likely feel vindicated, though they’re never going to get that game back.
But the post could get Irsay in trouble as Tom Pelissero has revealed that team officials are prohibited from sharing what goes on in conversations with the NFL about officiating after games.

The Colts owner is no stranger to trouble, having already gotten into plenty of it this year thanks to his social media activity. It will be interesting to see how the league responds to this.
