Like most owners around the NFL, Jim Irsay isn’t thrilled about paying his star running back.
The Indianapolis Colts owner is not keen on handing Jonathan Taylor a significant payday, and the RB is now involved in a saga over a back injury that may or may not exist.
While he intends to keep the coffers locked regarding affairs involving Taylor, the 64-year-old has no qualms when it comes to forking out $20 million to fly a killer whale across the United States.
The Orca, named Lolita, has spent the last 53 years in a Miami enclosure. But Irsay, a billionaire philanthropist, is looking to help take her back to her original home in the Pacific Ocean.
The move, which could be completed in 18 months, would cost $20 million. And it would see the 8,000lb Lolita reunited with her pod in a 15-acre netted area off Washington State, per The Times.
The 21ft mammal would need to be loaded into a glass tank and then trucked to an airport where she would be put on a cargo plane and then flown 2,700 miles to Seattle.

From there, she would be put on another truck and then released in the Salish Sea near the San Juan islands.
“She’s healthy, I’ve got the money, let’s move her,” Irsay said on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ in July.
It appears it’s more than he’s willing to say for Taylor.
