Jim Harbaugh may not be happy about being eliminated from the playoffs, but his body certainly needed some rest.
Harbaugh will have multiple procedures to address his health following his first season as the head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers.
ESPN’s Kris Rhim reported that Harbaugh will undergo a cardiac ablation and hip replacement surgery this offseason.

Jim Harbaugh has a noticeable limp, and hip surgery will address that situation.
As for the cardiac ablation, this procedure follows an incident in which Harbaugh was forced to leave his team’s Week 6 game against the Denver Broncos because of an atrial flutter. Paramedics treated him in the locker room, but he returned to coach the rest of the game.
He saw a cardiologist for his irregular heartbeat in October and was placed on medication. He was then put on a heart monitor for two weeks to provide doctors with more information about his condition.

This isn’t unusual for Harbaugh, as he previously had episodes of arrhythmia and had a heart procedure while coaching the San Francisco 49ers in 2012.
These procedures fo Jim Harbaugh comes after Los Angeles saw its season come to an end with a 32-12 loss to the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round on Saturday.
Jim Harbaugh Had a Successful First Year Away From College
Despite the playoff loss, it was still a successful first season for Harbaugh as the head coach.
With him coaching the team, their eleven victories were their most since the 2018 campaign, and they also made the playoffs for the second time since that season.
Things can only get better for the team as they look to improve in the offseason.
