As much as we mock the state of Florida, the news would be so bland without the wacky people in the state not doing weird things that make us shake our head.
Such was the case when a group of protesters gathered outside a Pinellas County courthouse and called for gyms to open back up across the state of Florida.
The protesters held signs and waved flags outside the courthouse. At a few points, the protesters hit the sidewalk pavement to do push-ups and squats. That pretty much screwed up their entire point of wanting gyms to open by showcasing they don’t actually need them to open by working out anywhere.
New York Jets wide receiver Quincy Enunwa hilariously pointed that out on Twitter.
“Let’s force them to open the gyms by showing them we can workout without one,” Enunwa tweeted.
To be fair, there are different types of workout inside a gym that can help with weight and strength training, but you can’t help but to point out the irony here.
