Rookie QB Zach Wilson got hit really hard from behind in the game against the New England Patriots and he stayed on the ground for several moments in considerable pain.
Wilson would eventually get up and make his way to the Blue medical tent. Soon after, he would head towards the locker room.
Backup QB Mike White has since taken over and he threw a touchdown to Corey Davis shortly after.
As for Wilson, he been having himself a tough rookie season, especially during these contests against Bill Belichick’s Patriots. During the Jets’ week two home loss against the Pats, the 2021 second overall pick three four interceptions and was sacked four times.

Prior to exiting this week’s game, Wilson was having some success against New England’s defense, completing 6 of 10 attempts for 51 yards and no interceptions.
