The New York Jets had quite the practice on Tuesday.
QB Zach Wilson didn’t have the best day, mostly because he kept getting sacked while on offense, and it started right away. In fact, he was sacked four times in five drop-backs. That is a huge problem.

Overall, Wilson found himself being sacked eight times on the day. In the midst of being sacked, multiple fights kept breaking out with Denzel Mims being involved.
The New York Jets are entering 2022 with some lofty expectations. Despite going 4-13 last season, Zach Wilson is entering his sophomore year with a new No. 1 receiver in Elijah Moore and a highly-touted rookie running back in Breece Hall.
Those expectations took a hit when 2020 first round pick Mekhi Becton suffered an avulsion fracture of the right knee cap, which will likely end his year.
Losing Becton would undoubtedly affect the Jets’ plans and right now, it seems to be very devastating to how the team plans on keeping Zach Wilson upright.
