Several New York Jets players are accusing former teammate Mecole Hardman of leaking the team’s plays to the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of their Week 6 game back in October.
Hardman made headlines when he took a shot at his former team, stating that the Jets have “no standard” and that “everybody does what they want to do.” Jets Punter Thomas Morstead responded by warning folks to “be careful getting information from disgruntled former employees.”
In a tweet that has since been deleted, Jets cornerback Ahmad ‘Sauce’ Gardner seemingly accused Hardman of leaking the team’s offensive gameplan against the Eagles. The screenshot of Gardner’s tweet is available below:
Regardless of any potential offensive gameplan leaking, it didn’t end up changing the result. The Jets stunned the Eagles 20-14, handing Jalen Hurts and the defending NFC Champions their first loss of 2023.

After winning a second Super Bowl ring with the Kansas City Chiefs last year, Hardman signed a one-year deal with the Jets. However, he failed to make much of an impact and was traded back to Kansas City.
Hardman went on to win his third Super Bowl ring with the Chiefs, who defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime of the big game. Hardman had five catches for 62 yards and one touchdown in four postseason games.
Hardman had 15 receptions for 124 yards and no touchdowns in the 2023 regular season.
