Nathaniel Hackett is back.
According to Tom Pelissero, the New York Jets are hiring the former Denver Broncos head coach as their new offensive coordinator.
The Jets confirmed the news:
Hackett did not have a good 2022 campaign, but his resume from previous stops before Denver speaks for itself. He was among the more experienced options on New York’s candidate list.
It should also be mentioned Hackett and Packers QB Aaron Rodgers are very close, which could be relevant if Green Bay and Rodgers decide to pursue a trade this offseason.

The Jets are a QB away from being an actual contender.
Hackett finished with a 4-11 record in his first and only season with the Broncos.
