New York Jets head coach Robert Saleh hilariously put a reporter on the spot during his press conference this Friday.
Saleh has to be pleased with himself after coaching his side to a win over the Houston Texans in Week 14 and is said to have been in high spirits all week. He was in a very good mood during his presser ahead of NY’s matchup vs. the Miami Dolphins and called an ESPN reporter out at one point.
Rich Cimini found himself on the end of some ribbing from the Jets HC, with Saleh claiming he hadn’t seen the journo since Week 1.
“Cimini’s here? When was the last time you showed up? First week (against) Buffalo?” he asked, getting a laugh out of the room. “Buddy, I keep records.”

“Love seeing him being called out,” one wrote. “ Remember before the Jets moved practice from Hofstra to Florham Park Rich saying he’d never go to NJ full time?”

Saleh will be going up against a coach who appreciates such humor this Sunday. Hopefully, it’s going to be a fun game.
