Adam Gase was not happy for several reasons on Monday night as he had to watch his squad get blown out 33-0 by the New England Patriots and then hear from reporters about a comment that was made by his QB that was aired for millions to hear around the country.
Sam Darnold was mc’d up for the game against the Patriots and ESPn ended up playing a segment where he stated on the bench, “I’m seeing ghosts,” directly after he had just thrown his second interception of the game.
Gase was pissed and ripped ESPN for playing it.
According to Brian Costello of the New York Post, Gase said, “I don’t know how we can allow our franchise quarterback to be put out there like that.” Gase added that the Jets would “reevaluate their cooperation” with ESPN.
He continued by stating that the Jets would be “looking into this pretty hard.”

If Gase’s beef is with anyone, it’s going to be with an NFL Films representative who approved it to air, according to Manish Mehta of New York Daily News.
Darnold went just 11-of-32 for 86 yards and four interceptions against New England’s league-leading defense.
It was such a far cry from Darnold leading the Jets to a shocking upset win over the Dallas Cowboys when he threw for 338 yards, two touchdowns and one interception.
